Project Challenge

The challenge was to highlight the unique experience of visiting Laura’s Coffee shop by communicating the quality of the handmade food and comfortable atmosphere from the physical shop to the website.

Solution

I designed the website using a rustic approach, focusing on lettering and charcoal walls which are design elements used in the shop to show the daily menus. I brought this environment to the website’s UI and suspended food elements to communicate the open air space where you can even see the kitchen as your food is being prepared.
